Xpertise and Sun Microsystems join forces to provide Sun-accredited Java training courses.
The agreement enables Xpertise to provide Sun-accredited Java™ training courses at its Northwest and Midlands training centres. Xpertise is a recognised leader in development training and has been providing Java training in the UK for nearly a decade. Xpertise joins a select number of organisations authorised to provide Sun's official Java training in the UK.
Bill Walker, Xpertise's commercial director, believes that the agreement further strengthens the company's stated strategy of providing training which is aligned to vendor accreditations and recognised industry standards. "We already have the broadest portfolio of accredited training courses," says Walker, "and we're really pleased to add Sun to that list. Java is one of the world's leading development platforms - and we've been providing training on Java almost since its launch. Now, to be one of a few training companies to be accredited by the inventors of Java is a real mark of distinction."
Sun chose Xpertise partly because of its strong background and deep understanding of Java training - and software development training in general. "We have a really strong track record in developer training and were keen to add the Sun brand to our accreditations," says Walker. "Being accredited shows that we have to meet the standards set down by each provider, including their quality controls and deep technical credibility. This provides buyers with a greater assurance of quality and consistency. Plus, there is our proven expertise - training UK companies in technical IT subjects."
