Learning NewsQA

QA InterQuad has launched a comprehensive range of own-brand Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) courses to help IT professionals master this new technology. Written by QA InterQuad's expert instructors, the courses are available in over twenty training centres across the UK.

The Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 courses were developed by our Microsoft experts working with Dr. Dan Oliver of Microsoft Consulting Services, and are essential for IT professionals who have recently implemented or are considering implementing Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 within their organisations. Providing learners with the skills and knowledge required to implement and manage systems infrastructure with MOM 2005, the courses also teach attendees how to interpret information from the 'Operator Console' of the Microsoft Operations Manager.

Technical instructor at QA InterQuad, Brian McDermott explains: "At QA InterQuad we have taken a different approach to developing these courses; we worked very closely with companies that are already implementing these products to design courses that provide precisely the skills their teams require. One of these companies is in its fifth year of using MOM, so this means our courses cover not only the installation and configuration topics traditionally covered by technical training, but also highlight best practise for MOM and identify long-term maintenance issues.

"Our courses have a high element of hands-on practical experience, so delegates will return to the office able to apply their skills immediately, and with a strong understanding of how the products will function in their company infrastructure. In the case of the advanced course, delegates will also write and take away a functioning management pack that can be used as a template for custom rules in their own environment, covering the top issues that our clients have encountered. The Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) courses focus on the design, installation and initial configuration of MOM and by developing courses that can be combined with these, we provide companies with an end-to-end solution to train all their staff, whether they are going to be operating, designing, building or administering the system."

QA InterQuad's MOM courses are available now across the company's UK-wide training centres. For more information or to book your place on a course, visit our website at www.qa-iq.com, call 01753 898 320 or email [email protected].
