QA InterQuad launches 'First Look' Microsoft training

Learning NewsQA

Learn about Microsoft Windows Vista, Office 2007 and Exchange Server 2007! QA InterQuad has launched an exclusive range of First Look workshops for early adopters and IT professionals considering implementing the much anticipated Microsoft technologies to be launched later this year.

Providing an early insight into the significant changes from the earlier versions, the workshops will allow attendees to consider the impact of the technologies on their roles and organisations. Combining a high-level overview of the new technologies and features with an insight into the benefits of implementation, these workshops will provide the skills needed to begin the implementation and administration of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Windows Vista and Office System 2007.

Microsoft Business Manager at QA InterQuad, Will Hawkins, explains: "As one of the UK's leading Microsoft skills providers, we want to provide our customers with the essential 'must have' information and knowledge. Our instructors have been closely involved with Microsoft's Train the Trainer programme, and are already experienced in these new technologies. So, by coming along to one of our workshops, delegates can prepare for the changes and understand what the technologies will really mean for their teams and organisation.

"To give an idea of the importance of the changes in these new versions; Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 will be significantly more complicated than previous versions, as it includes several new features which allow unified communications of voicemail, voice over IP (VOIP) and video conferencing. Windows Vista focuses on security as a key feature and includes new deployment planning tools and planning scenarios. Office 2007 includes a new interface, and for the first time will include an Office Server to handle collaborative technologies - critical for many modern businesses. It's essential for IT professionals to gain an early understanding of how this will support business requirements and impact upon their day-to-day role."

Available at QA InterQuad's training centres across the UK, the one-day workshops will give attendees a strong starting point for understanding and deploying these new technologies. For more information, and to book your place, call 01753 898 300 or visit our web site.
