Free Visual Studio 2005 seminars
Thursday 9 February: Edinburgh
Wednesday 15 February: London Holborn
Thursday 16 February: Swindon
Presented by Darren Burford and Paul Besly

The seminars are hosted by experts in their field who have been working with the new technology since early versions. Dandy Weyn, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Consultant Technologist at QA, has over 10 years' experience in the IT industry and provides training and consultancy for SQL Server. He explains the benefits of the seminars; "This is a great opportunity to understand the many new developments in SQL Server 2005. The seminar takes you through the new features, including the new features for database developers and administrators, explaining how they benefit your business. The seminars aim to give a strong overview of the technology, allowing you to maximise your time and focus on the real-world application of the technology."

Darren Burford teaches many of QA's .NET courses, and in 2005 was a medallist for the British Computer Society (BCS) Trainer of the Year award. He sees the Visual Studio 2005 seminars as an important opportunity to understand all the technology has to offer: "Although ASP.NET is the most well-known of the new developments, it's not the only thing to have been radically enhanced in .NET 2.0. There are plenty of other things to interest developers in general, and we're going to be looking at some of the new tools available for architects and testers."
