QA's expertise as a provider of Novell training has been further recognised, with one of its leading trainers on the subject being awarded the prestigious Certified Novell Instructor (CNI) SysOp status, specialising in the ZENWorks system management tools.

As part of the new support programme launched within Novell Education, Alistair Cloughley has been appointed as one of only four CNI 'SysOps' worldwide, and will be the first port of call to provide technical support to Novell accredited trainers. This is in addition to QA's existing links with the software provider through account manager Liz Couser's position on the worldwide Novell Training and Certification Advisory Council.

Cloughley explains the impact of his appointment; "This gives QA's customers rare benefits. We will work more closely with the company's education team to ensure that the courses we offer are providing up-to-the-minute information. It will also give us the opportunity in the future to be involved much more closely with the roll-out of new products.

"The Novell trainers at QA are among the longest certified CNIs in Europe, with over 12 years' experience each. Combined with the support that QA receives as a Novell Platinum Training Partner, this opportunity reflects the skill, expertise and commitment that go into ensuring our courses reach such high standards."

In order to meet increased demand, QA has recently expanded the reach of its Novell training. Courses are now available from its London, Dublin and Swindon centres in addition to the existing courses in Edinburgh and Glasgow, and popularity has so far been high.

As well as offering the full range of Novell NetWare and Novell infrastructure services including GroupWise and ZenWorks, QA is working closely with Novell to promote and deliver their Suse Linux offerings.
