Xpertise, one of the leading UK IT training providers, has added 40% more capacity to its London training operation to cope with increased demand for its services in the City.

Earlier in the year Xpertise added a new sales office, a wider training portfolio and increased classroom capacity to its City training centre. Seven months on and the fruits of this work has paid off with Xpertise now boosting its training capacity by 40%.

Ian Johnson, managing director of Xpertise commented: “We are absolutely delighted to see the strategy that we put in place for London reaping rewards. Over the last 6 months we have been running at a staggering 90+% delegate capacity in London, and have been using external facilities during the weeks where we are over 100%. This extra 40% capacity will not only allow us to offer more courses, but will ensure we can cope with the increased demand that we have been experiencing for our current courses. As part of this increase in classroom capacity, we are also building a new Thomson Prometric testing room, a new reception area and an enhanced area for delegates to gain access to email and the internet during breaks.”

Xpertise launched its London centre in December 2002 and now boasts one of the most modern and best equipped sites for delivering technical and business skills training. And the success is not limited to London - the other five regional training centres have also experienced strong growth over the past six months on the back of interim results which showed a 25% increase in orders over the same period in 2003.

The Xpertise training portfolio is now one of the broadest in the industry which includes A+, Network+, C++, Checkpoint, Cisco, Citrix, Help Desk, Java, Linux/Unix, IBM, ITIL - Service Management, Lotus, Microsoft, Novell, OO, Oracle, Project Management and PRINCE2 and Red Hat.
