Second MVP for QA

Learning NewsQA

Charles Clarke, senior instructor at QA, the UK’s leading independent provider of training and consulting, has been awarded prestigious Most Valuable Professional (MVP) status by Microsoft for his technical expertise and service to Microsoft communities.

Charles, one of only a handful of MVPs in Scotland, is the second QA employee to receive this distinction. Thomas Lee, Chief Technologist and Microsoft Regional Director (RD), is an MVP for the eighth consecutive year for his Windows 2000 leadership. Clarke receives his MVP accolade for his Systems Management Server (SMS) expertise and commitment to SMS communities.

“Charles is an instructor and technical expert of the highest calibre,” commented Hugh Morris, Operations Director, QA. “This recognition of his standing within the Microsoft community highlights the value he brings to helping our clients in Scotland to master new technologies and improve their business operations”.

MVP status is awarded annually to select individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to Microsoft’s technical and product communities. To date, only 20 Microsoft technology champions have been awarded MVP status in the UK this year.

As an MVP Charles, who is the only MVP for SMS in Scotland, will enjoy a direct channel to Microsoft product teams and access to private news groups. This relationship, and the ability to pass client feedback to the Microsoft product teams, will help QA clients maximise their technology investment.

Serena Robertson, Microsoft Online Support Manager, commented, “As an MVP, Charles has shown that he has the knowledge and commitment to help QA delegates and clients, and the wider technical community, enhance their Microsoft skills”.
