Metersbonwe has selected the NetDimensions Talent Suite to support its multi-stage talent management strategy for its 20,000 employees across mainland China.

NetDimensions (London Stock Exchange AIM: NETD), a global provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems, announced that Metersbonwe has selected the NetDimensions Talent Suite to support its talent management strategy.

Metersbonwe, mainland China’s largest casual wear company, has been rapidly growing its business since it was established in 1995. To cope with this rapid expansion, Metersbonwe needed an integrated solution that will address its 20,000 employees’ increasing training and talent management requirements.

“We chose NetDimensions as our strategic partner because of their expertise in developing learning and performance management solutions,” said Wu Yue, General Manager of Metersbonwe University.

The solution must also work well with Metersbonwe’s corporate culture. The company needed a solution that not only serves as a delivery platform for learning resources, it must also enable Metersbonwe to manage its talent database, communication with employees and its employees’ learning paths and career development.

“After several months of evaluating potential vendors, we chose the NetDimensions Talent Suite because its features and capabilities fit very well with our talent management strategy,” added Wu.

A multi-stage talent management program for all

Metersbonwe has divided its talent management strategy into three stages, starting with online learning and exams for all of its employees at directly operated chain stores and subsidiaries.

The second stage will target the company’s training managers at headquarters and regional training centers, focusing on optimizing blended training strategies.

Finally, the company will set up a competency model that matches talent development programs with learning resources to help develop HR and business training personnel.

“We are very honored that Metersbonwe has chosen to work with the NetDimensions team in achieving the goals of their talent management strategy,“ noted Charles Cheng, NetDimensions’ General Manager for China.

“I hope that the confidence that Metersbonwe has placed in our products and services provides a strong message to the market that NetDimensions’ solutions enable not only retail companies in China, but organizations across other industries as well, to successfully manage their learning and performance management programs in a fully integrated manner.”
