NetDimensions and UnYLeYa are collaborating to deliver innovative learning solutions, including NetDimensions’ mEKP portable LMS, in Africa, Brazil and Portugal.

NetDimensions (London Stock Exchange AIM: NETD), a global provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems, and UnYLeYa are collaborating to deliver innovative learning solutions, including NetDimensions’ mEKP portable LMS, in Africa, Brazil and Portugal.

UnYLeYa was established by LeYa and leading academic institutions in Lisbon, Portugal as a joint effort to promote e-learning in Portuguese worldwide.

Nuno Pena, Director of Professional Training at UnYLeYa said: “We see mEKP as a major differentiator for us in our target markets. Angola, Mozambique and some areas in Brazil lack stable and reliable Internet connections that make it next to impossible to deliver e-learning projects in these areas.”

NetDimensions mEKP --  a portable LMS on a USB flash drive that requires no installation or connectivity and synchronizes with the NetDimensions enterprise LMS when Internet access is available -- has received various awards including Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for External Training and Global Training, Best Advance Performance Support Technology by the Brandon Hall Group; and the Award of Excellence in the Best Mobile Learning Solution category by Elearning! magazine.

“Through mEKP, we finally have a medium to deliver e-learning content from USB flash drives without the need for Internet connectivity,” explained Pena.

UnYLeYa also provides global solutions for e-learning and designs courses for various training needs of organizations through the NetDimensions Talent Suite. The Talent Suite supports over 30 languages and if needed, multiple languages concurrently within the same instance.

“Portuguese is the official language or spoken natively in about a dozen countries. It is estimated that there are over 240 million native Portuguese speakers worldwide,” noted Steve Curtis, EMEA Channel Director at NetDimensions.

“We are very excited to be able to support UnYLeYa in effectively delivering their e-learning solutions and services in Portuguese-speaking countries and regions around the world,” Curtis added.
