NetDimensions announces that Sapa Heat Transfer (Shanghai) Ltd. has successfully rolled out the Enterprise Knowledge Platform learning management system for its employee competency development and Environment, Health and Safety training programs.

NetDimensions (London Stock Exchange AIM: NETD), a global provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems, announces that Sapa Heat Transfer (Shanghai) Ltd. (SHTS) has successfully rolled out NetDimensions' Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) learning management system for its employee competency development and Environment, Health and Safety training programs.

Jessie Yao, HR Manager at SHTS said, "Our company focuses on the automotive industry, which demands high quality products and continuous improvement. To meet these requirements, we have to ensure our company meets stringent industry standards and requirements, such as TS16949, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001."

SHTS is a part of the Sapa Group, a global leader in developing, manufacturing and marketing value-added aluminium profiles, profile-based building systems and heat exchanger solutions in aluminium.

"We operate in a very competitive industry so we maintain our market leadership through customer value creation and knowledge management, as well as run our world-class operations at less cost," explained Yao.

"We chose EKP because it is a flexible system with the functionality we need to achieve our critical objectives, including competency development and employee retention."

Charles Cheng, NetDimensions' General Manager for China noted, "We are very proud to support SHTS's compliance programs through EKP. We will continue to support SHTS in the next stage of the implementation as they take their entire training process -- including application, approval, recording and reporting -- and migrate it from the company's office automation system into EKP."

Yao added, "We will use EKP to regularly monitor and audit up to 80% of core competencies, such as product and process knowledge, as well as material knowhow. In the long term, we also plan to implement EKP for career development and succession planning."
