Hong Kong, December 22, 2010 -- NetDimensions announces that PAR Springer-Miller Systems, the leading provider of
guest-centric hospitality management systems has successfully increased savings and customer satisfaction with the
implementation of the Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) learning management system (LMS).

NetDimensions (London Stock Exchange AIM: NETD), a global provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems, announces that PAR Springer-Miller Systems, the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems has successfully increased savings and customer satisfaction with the implementation of the Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) learning management system (LMS).

Tricia Majetich, Manager of Implementation Support at PAR Springer-Miller Systems stated: “We needed to deliver a cost-effective and standardized training solution to our customers. Travel and accommodation costs for our trainers were becoming more and more expensive as fuel prices continue to rise.”

Delivering web-based, on-demand training content through EKP LMS enabled PAR Springer-Miller Systems to reduce installation and training expenses, as well as the number of on-site training days.

“Immediate savings can be measured in the reduced number of support calls, number of man-days required for installation, and the on-going empowerment of our customers and employees to pursue self-guided e-learning,” explained Majetich.

Addressing client frustration over high turnover rates

Turnover rates within the hospitality industry average over 65% per year. Web-based training provides PAR Springer-Miller Systems’ customers with a cost effective and standardized training curriculum that helps to ensure new employees are being trained correctly by subject matter experts every time.

“We are also seeing less frustration from our customers when they have employee turnover. If a hotel has an unexpected change of staff, new employees can be trained immediately – the hotel does not need to wait for a trainer to travel to their location,” added Majetich.

“Since installing EKP, the adoption of our web-based training has increased dramatically. We’re very proud of the content we have created and the LMS that is delivering training to our customers. Our customers have been asking for an alternative to on-site training, and we’re excited that we are finally able to deliver web-based training that is easy to use and meets their reporting needs.”

Eric Miller, Senior Account Manager for North America at NetDimensions said: “We are very excited to work with PAR Springer-Miller Systems in helping them address these major challenges in the hospitality industry.

“The EKP LMS is much more than a traditional training software environment. It is also a unique solution that can be integrated into all aspects of a business and help our clients reduce cost, improve productivity, manage risk and drive change in their organization.”

Key requirements that only EKP LMS could deliver

PAR Springer-Miller Systems also required a learning management system that would enable its customers to track the training and knowledge of their employees easily without a lot of assistance. “We needed a way to manage, deliver and track training and assessments for both our internal employees and our customers. After an extensive search and countless demonstrations, we felt that EKP addressed all of our needs,” noted Majetich.

“EKP has a very intuitive user interface and we were confident that our customers would be able to navigate it. We are also very pleased with the assessment functionality within EKP. Viewing, grading, and printing tests is simple and managers can quickly see the performance of their employees.”

PAR Springer-Miller Systems also had some very specific configuration needs that only EKP could provide. “We needed to be able to set up a hierarchy so that each hotel and their parent company could report on their employees’ progress,” explained Majetich.

“In addition, EKP gave us the flexibility to offer different pricing structures. Our customers have the option to purchase a membership that allows them to access all the courses that are available or purchase courses a la carte.”
