Aurion Learning Streamlines Learner Tracking and Reporting with NetDimensions' EKP
NetDimensions, a global provider of performance, knowledge and learning management systems, announced today that Aurion Learning, a specialized professional development and educational design company will be upgrading the Irish Health Service Executive's (HSE) Online Learning Center by integrating NetDimensions' Learning Management System (LMS) - The Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP).
"As a specialist in eLearning strategy development combined with our comprehensive knowledge of the LMS marketplace, we chose EKP because it is one of the most robust, intuitive, feature rich and easily deployed learning environments in the world," said Ross Maguire, Sales Director at Aurion Learning.
Aurion Learning manages the HSE's eLearning strategy development. Aurion Learning will upgrade the Online Learning Center developed for the HSE in 2004 to include a range of new and exciting eLearning and knowledge sharing tools including a new suite of eLearning authoring tools, Wikis and blogs, complemented with the EKP LMS. New services will be introduced and will focus on training, supporting and encouraging in-house staff to design and deliver their own eLearning material for distribution through the Online Learning Center.
All HSE eLearning programmes are SCORM compliant and will be integrated seamlessly with EKP, which will support learner tracking and reporting, as well as a range of new features that will allow better management of learners across the HSE, including certification tracking and distribution. The HSE has almost 100,000 employees, and the usage of the Learning Center is expected to grow beyond the existing 13,000 registered users currently in the system.
"We congratulate Aurion Learning for being awarded the € 1.1 million eLearning contract to upgrade HSE's Online Learning Center," said Liam Butler, NetDimensions' Director of Sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Regions. "And we are proud that Aurion Learning has chosen NetDimensions as their LMS provider for this important upgrade project."
