AppSense launch three-tier User Virtualization certification programme to validate IT professionals: New exams to be delivered via Pearson VUE test centres
AppSense Professional Services has developed and is releasing a global three-tier certification programme for its customers and partners.
The leading provider of user virtualization solutions for
enterprises has designed a programme to baseline competency and to
validate an IT professional's ability to implement, configure and
administer the AppSense User Virtualization Platform (UVP).
The certification tiers - AppSense Certified Professional,
AppSense Certified Specialist and AppSense Certified Expert -
require a combination of classroom sessions, practical hands-on use
and shadowing of live projects. The certifications link into
requirements for the AppSense Certified Solution Partner (CSP)
programme. Entrants to the programme must pass a series of exams
and staged projects in order to achieve the relevant level of
certification. Each exam will allow AppSense to measure the product
knowledge and skills acquired by candidates throughout their
participation in the programme. The first tier in the programme is
available now with the AppSense Professional Certification
exam.
Following the formation of a multi-year partnership with Pearson
VUE, the exams will be available through the leader in
computer-based testing's extensive network of highly secure and
invigilated test centres. Pearson VUE's bespoke solution provides
AppSense with unparalleled service, including utilisation of its
web-based services, to allow candidate registration and exam
scheduling in a robust and secure online environment. The exclusive
agreement also sees candidates benefit by receiving their results
instantly upon completion of the test.

delivery technologies and devices. This is achieved through
