Ontuitive, a world-leader in performance support systems and services, is organising a programme of activities to promote the latest in performance support methods, techniques and products at the upcoming Learning Technologies event.

“L&D teams are finding themselves increasingly in a tight spot - productivity and budgets are on the decrease while the pace of business change accelerates,” points out Ontuitive’s Ali Parkinson, who believes that L&D can provide greater strategic value by using technology to integrate learning with working.

At Learning Technologies 2013 in London this week, 29-30 January, Ontuitive has arranged a programme of activities all about performance support and how L&D professionals can integrate learning with working.

‘Using mobile support systems to boost Sales’

  • One-hour conference session hosted by Jeremy Smith, Senior Learning Solutions Manager at Herman Miller
  • Learning Technologies Conference, 15.30, 29 January

Herman Miller’s field sales team was making too many client visits for each sale: to get the product information they needed to move a sale forward they had to rely on traditional e-learning, taking up costly selling time. Herman Miller established a mobile performance support solution that put the product information in their hands when they needed it and Jeremy Smith will explain all about it and its results so far during the Learning Technologies conference.

Jeremy is also providing a shortened version of his conference session in the Learning Technologies exhibition’s Performance Support Theatre, stand 69, at 12.30 on both 29 and 30 January.

‘Multi channel publishing/single source authoring: authoring once, outputting to many’

  • Forty-five minute exhibition seminar hosted by Bob Mosher, Chief Learning Evangelist at Ontuitive
  • Learning Technologies Exhibition Theatre 3, 13.15, 29 January

Single-source Publishing (SSP) consists of practices and technologies that allow an organisation to write content once and then publish it out in all the different forms (modalities) needed. Bob Mosher will introduce key SSP practices along with examples of SSP in support of Learning and Performance Support.

‘How Performance Support changes a learning organisation’

  • Thirty-minute exhibition seminar hosted by Bob Mosher, Chief Learning Evangelist at Ontuitive

Introducing performance support into an organisation will inevitably affect the roles and processes a learning group uses to deliver learning. Moshers’ presentation will discuss how to best adapt a learning group to optimise the design, delivery, and integration of performance support into existing workflow.

‘Performance Support in 2 clicks and 10 seconds’

  • Thirty-minute presentation hosted by Bob Mosher, Chief Learning Evangelist at Ontuitive
  • Learning Technologies Exhibition Performance Support Theatre - stand 69, 11.00, 29 and 30 January

‘Measuring the business impact of Performance Support’

  • Thirty-minute presentation hosted by Knowledge Advisors
  • Learning Technologies Exhibition Performance Support Theatre - stand 69, 15.00, 29 and 30 January
