Trends in learning technology and performance support: Ontuitive joins Towards Maturity's Ambassador Programme
Ontuitive, a world leader in performance support solutions, has joined an influential research and benchmarking programme into learning technology trends, organised by Towards Maturity.
Towards Maturity provides an annual benchmark report into
learning innovations in the workplace, looking at key trends in how
learning is evolving in practice. It's Ambassador programme,
launched in 2011, is a vision of improvement for the learning
industry, shared by its ambassadors: a group of twenty one leading
commercial learning organisations, which have joined the programme
to identify good practices and innovations in learning that support
organisations looking to accelerate performance.
Ontuitive is a pioneer in performance support and has spent over
ten years questioning the old ways of learning that are struggling
to cope under the waves of change taking place in business. It has
created a new business-learning model based on delivering learning
in the workflow to enable performance right when a query or
question arises. "Towards Maturity's annual benchmark offers us a
great opportunity to highlight how great performance systems should
work and their role in accelerating the performance of
organisations. We will use a number of our 'gold standard'
implementations to help establish best practice approaches in the
industry," explains Ali Parkinson, a director of Ontuitive in the

The company is also taking part in the Online Educa conference, Berlin from 28-30 November and the Learning Technologies conference, London from 29-30 January, where Ontuitive's team will be on hand to discuss the company's developments in performance support applications and methods. Its '2 clicks and 10 seconds' performance support development methodology and authoring software has been shortlisted for a 2013 Learning Award by the Learning and Performance Institute.
