Performance Support in 2 clicks and 10 seconds at LEARNING LIVE

Leicester, UKLearning NewsOntuitive

Ontuitive, a world leader in performance support solutions, is hosting a workshop at the upcoming LEARNING LIVE conference in London about how to operationalise performance support in the workplace: ‘Performance Support in 2 clicks and 10 seconds’.

Performance Support solutions used to take months to build and enormous costs to develop, but new technologies and approaches have drastically reduced time and cost, driving worldwide growth in performance support. However, while interest in performance support grows, to many L&D professionals actually making it operational in specific contexts remains a challenge, if not a mystery.

Rita Ruparel, a senior engagement consultant at Ontuitive, has implemented performance support solutions in medium to large organisations for the last 10 years, and has defined new ways for organisations to build performance systems. Rita was part of the team responsible for establishing Ontuitive’s ‘Just Enough’ framework methodology: a structured approach that the company uses to reduce the time and cost of building context sensitive performance support systems. On day one of the upcoming LEARNING LIVE conference in London on 12 September, Rita is hosting a workshop for L&D professionals about how to operationalise performance support in the workplace: Performance support in 2 clicks and 10 seconds.

Donald H Taylor, LPI Chairman, said: “Performance support has been with us for many years, and now advances in technology and
techniques make it a realistic proposition for every organisation. We’ve invited one of the best-known performance support professionals in the UK to
help the conference get to grips with this hugely important sphere of learning.”

Attendees will learn ways to operationalise performance support - in the past one of the biggest barriers to getting a performance system off the ground. Attendees will learn about Ontuitive’s ‘Just Enough’ framework methodology - the approach it uses to make performance support a reality in the workplace and there will also be a live demonstration of Ontuitive’s performance support development application, LearningGuide Manager. Attendees will take away a copy of the book ‘Innovative Performance Support: Strategies and Practices for Learning in the Workflow’, by Bob Mosher and Con Gottfredson.

The workshop is free to attend for conference delegates: there are 40 places available and delegates may register online in advance to secure places: Performance support in 2 clicks and 10 seconds.
