Ontuitive, the performance support software and services provider, will unveil a giant step forward in providing employees with embedded, contextual and just-enough support, at this week’s Online Educa exhibition and conference in Berlin.

At this week’s Online Educa event, Ontuitive will launch a new context-capture technology that it believes will transform the design of performance support systems.

“Our approach to performance support is based on employees quickly accessing just the support that they need when queries arise: solving issues within 2 clicks and 10 seconds so that they can continue with work uninterrupted. A fundamental ingredient in delivering support like this is to ensure it has the right context,” says Ontuitive’s Channel Director, Robert Bezemer.

“Support needs to match the individual’s role and the specific task that they are attempting. So we’ve built this capability into our authoring application; to give performance support designers more power to decide when, where and how support should be delivered based on a user’s context,” he explains. “We call it Ready Technology.”

By embedding directly within applications, ‘Ready Technology’ captures the user’s context, fetches the most relevant support content, and serves just-enough support back to the user. Unlike e-learning, simulations, searching, help, or calling the helpdesk, Ready Technology enables the user to solve their own issue within 2-clicks and 10-seconds; therefore, greatly increasing productivity and reducing support costs.

Ready Technology will be unveiled at this week's Online Educa exhibition and conference, taking place in Berlin from 28 to 30 November: members from Ontuitive's team will be providing demonstrations throughout the three-day event.
