Intellego Systems, the e-learning development and learner-management solutions provider is adding LearningGuide performance support applications to its portfolio of learning technologies.

LearningGuide performance support applications embed learning and support directly into the workplace, enabling workers to quickly access exactly the right on-line assistance for whatever task or process they are completing.

Andy Green, Managing Director, Intellego Systems, said: "LearningGuide's performance support software adds an essential and complimentary component to our existing solutions portfolio. Embedding learning directly into employees' working processes is a technique that is increasingly used in organisational change programs, and whose deployment will extend across the enterprise as informal learning interventions prove their efficacy as part of an overall learning and development strategy."

"When new computer applications and working procedures are introduced, the support overhead is usually at its highest and productivity will often dip as workers get to grips with new ways of working. Performance support systems such as LearningGuide help to overcome these issues, providing just sufficient learning and support right at the moment of need and ensuring workers complete new tasks accurately and without disrupting productivity."

Alfred Remmits, CEO of LearningGuide Solutions, commenting on the new partnership with Intellego Systems, said: "The Intellego Systems team has a wealth of organisational learning experience, amongst the best we've seen in the learning technologies industry. They have a proven track record of successfully implementing learning technologies and systems and will be an ideal partner to help develop the market for performance support applications in the United Kingdom."
