LearningGuide, the workplace performance support software and services provider, is expanding into the United States to increase its international coverage and its share of the performance support systems market.

The United States operation is a partnership with LearningGuide's international distributor, Global Learning Alliance, and follows a similar recent expansion in the United Kingdom.

LearningGuide is a workplace performance support application used by organizations to deliver on-the-job support, via the desktop, directly to workers as and when queries about completing tasks, following procedures or using applications arise.

While LearningGuide is established in Europe, CEO Cees Louwers sees the recent expansion into the United States as a top priority for the company: "40% of the world's two thousand largest enterprises are US-owned, or have significant US operations. For LearningGuide to become a leader in delivering workplace performance support solutions it's important we're in the US market. The opportunity provided by Global Learning Alliance's international network of learning providers has now made this possible."

Global Learning Alliance's international network, which includes US-based United Training, provides LearningGuide with access into many new markets. Global Learning Alliance CEO, Alfred Remmits, said: "as performance support solutions become more important to our customers we expect to achieve significant growth in LearningGuide sales and we're delighted to be taking LearningGuide into the US market."

"LearningGuide delivers increased productivity as it provides workers with immediate answers to queries. It's the twenty-first century answer to getting the best from investments in new company processes and technology," added Remmits.
