OnPoint Digital, Inc., a leading e-learning and mobile solutions provider, today announced that the company's CellCast® Solution platform won top honors at the Mobile Learning Shootout held last week during the Training 2009 Conference & Expo in Atlanta, GA.

The Training 2009 conference is one of the learning industry's largest professional development conferences in the USA. Held annually, this year's show brought together over 1,200 attendees interested in learning about the latest in training technology and processes. The Mobile Learning Shootout, sponsored by Training Magazine and organized by Judy Brown, a leading education technology consultant and the editor of mlearnopedia.com, was one of the shows many highlights. Competing vendors were provided access to a set of public domain materials outlining procedures to follow during a series of hypothetical crisis management scenarios, then asked to demonstrate how their mobile learning tools could be utilized to create engaging and useful content for mobile workers to access and download during such a crisis to provide improved performance support.

OnPoint's CellCast Solution was selected as the shootout winner based on its unique capability to quickly and easily create and deliver just-in-time content in multiple formats based on the different mobile device types in use-from the basic cellphone to most any variety of advanced smartphone.

"OnPoint Digital provided a comprehensive solution for mobile performance support dealing with crisis response which was available to the widest range of devices," said event organizer Judy Brown. "The audience was also impressed with the breadth of delivery possible for a mobile solution that was developed in such a short amount of time."

"We're very excited with our win at the shootout," said Robert Gadd, President of OnPoint Digital and on-stage demonstrator at the Shootout. "We are certainly gratified by the audience's positive response to our CellCast Solution offering, and encouraged by a definite increase in the level of interest in mobile learning being driven by the accelerated adoption of smartphones and wireless mobile within corporate organizations."
