OnPoint Digital, Inc. has joined the BlackBerry® Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Alliance Program to better support its award-winning CellCast Solution™ and joins a growing number of software developers building applications for the full range of BlackBerry® smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM)(NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM). As a member of the ISV Alliance Program, OnPoint can better leverage the business and marketing resources RIM offers to introduce its CellCast Solution to the global market.

“We are very excited to become a part of the expanding BlackBerry ecosystem,” said Robert Gadd, OnPoint’s President and Cofounder. “Supporting BlackBerry smartphones is absolutely essential to our strategy of delivering next generation mobile content and communications support to our enterprise customers engaged in mobile learning, workforce enablement and anytime/anywhere information delivery. In preparation for joining the BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program, we have completed development of our new CellCast Mobile Widget™ application for BlackBerry smartphones and plan to begin customer trials immediately.”

OnPoint’s CellCast Solution, honored as the First Place Winner in the Mobile Widget Contest category at the CTIA Wireless® show in Las Vegas in April 2008, provides enterprise accounts with the ability to prepare, package, deliver and track content deployed to a mobile worker’s smartphone through an array of modalities including voice, SMS messages, HTML/PDF files, audio/video clips and animated slideshows. Current customers are already supporting mobile initiatives across a variety of disciplines including mobile learning, sales training, field data collection, tradeshow/event communications, and mobile marketing campaigns.

“As a member of the BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program, our development team gains access to the invaluable technical and support resources needed to assist us in designing and delivering our CellCast Mobile Widget application for BlackBerry smartphones,” said James Taylor, OnPoint’s Senior Architect for Mobile Solutions. “Through our membership, we can deepen our understanding and use of core technologies in the BlackBerry platform, including the comprehensive features for corporate users running the BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution, to help facilitate content delivery and enhance security for our customers.”
