Reducing visual stress in eLearning: Accessibility in Articulate Storyline
Omniplex will present a seminar demonstrating how to make eLearning courses more accessible with Articulate Storyline at the upcoming Learning Technologies event next week in London.
Learning Technologies 2018 plays host to 150 seminars from a great line-up of speakers, including Omniplex’s Helen Tyson. Tyson’s seminar ‘Reducing visual stress in eLearning: Accessibility in Articulate Storyline’ demonstrates how to reduce the impact of visual stress for learners.
Visual stress affects the way you perceive what you’re looking at, and can have a variety of effects for learners, for example, double vision or blurring of text. Although there is no way of correcting visual stress; Tyson’s seminar will show the simple design steps which can reduce the impact of visual stress throughout an eLearning course.
Using states and variables in Articulate Storyline; Tyson’s seminar will provide a step by step demonstration of how to improve eLearning design to increase the accessibility of courses for users struggling with visual stress.
Tyson is the lead trainer of the Articulate Certified training programme in the UK and Ireland, and has over 15 years of experience in Learning and Development. Tyson’s experience in a range of industries has highlighted the need for greater accessibility in eLearning, and she aims to share these insights with attendees at Learning Technologies 2018.
“Omniplex is focused on helping our customers create brilliant eLearning” states Andrei Grayson, Sales Manager at Omniplex. “Helen’s seminar at Learning Technologies reflects this; by helping people make their courses more accessible for their learners, using the award-winning authoring tool, Articulate Storyline.”
‘Reducing visual stress in eLearning: Accessibility in Articulate Storyline’ is at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, 31st January in Theatre 9.
Omniplex will be on stand Q3 at Learning Technologies 2018, with a team of eLearning solutions consultants to discuss authoring tools, eLearning content development solutions, learning management systems and training.
