Using Data to Make a Convincing Case for the Impact of Learning

BerlinLearning NewsOEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH

OEB 2022 will host a conference session on data-supported decision making in Learning and Development.

The OEB Conference, taking place in Berlin from 23-25 November, will host a session to help L&D professionals to make better use of data in support of learning impact, led by two experts: Ben Gallacher, Founder, inrehearsal and Avi Snir, CEO, Elevation.

Data-supported decision making is only possible when the goals, KPI’s and metrics are set in advance, understood and communicated. As L&D should continue to play a more and more strategic role in companies, measuring and presenting the results of programmes is crucial and leads the way to ‘sit at the table’ together with leadership and the decision makers.

In this session we will discuss how to measure L&D programmes, which metrics, measurements and KPI’s to use in order to be able to measure the impact of the programme and its outcomes. And we will largely discount most of the data gathered operationally in L&D, such as engagement, satisfaction and completion rates.

We will also discuss engaging with, and convincing internal stakeholders, with a visual representation of your data.

“Using Data to Make a Convincing Case for the Impact of Learning” will take place on Friday, Nov 25 at 14:30.

The full conference agenda for OEB 2022 is online along with OEB Conference ticketing and more information about the exhibition, which runs alongside the conference.
