Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), a pioneer and global leader in customised learning solutions, today announced that Nitin Mistry, Senior Technical Architect and head of Mobile Solutions at TIS will be presenting at the Learning Technologies, 25-26 January 2012 held at Olympia 2, London. Mistry’s presentation entitled ‘Developing performance support & training for mobile delivery’ will examine the difference between ‘mobile learning courses’ and ‘mobile performance support tools’ as well as what L&D professionals should consider in terms of best practice learning and securing a successful rollout. The session is scheduled to take place on Thursday 26th January 2012, at 12:30pm GMT in Theatre 3.

Tata Interactive Systems (TIS) will showcase its award winning mobile solutions at stand 39 where visitors can view interactive demonstrations and seek practical advice on how to successfully assess, implement and integrate mobile training programmes within their organisation. Nitin Mistry will also be available at the TIS stand to answer any questions. Visitors can also enter a free competition to win a night stay the Taj Hotel in central London.

Will Chadwick, Vice President of Tata Interactive Systems (TIS) adds,“ Today, employees around the globe are much more likely to own a personal or company-issue Smartphone or other mobile computing device, enabling m-learning providers to deliver much richer, multi-media interventions.  We see mobile learning as a critical part of the overall learning strategy, because we believe that more technology-based education will be delivered over mobile platforms in the near future. When delivered correctly, m-learning can deliver highly technical and complex learning into more easily digestible nuggets. The results of an integrated m-learning programme can be highly attractive to employees whose traditional attitude to e-learning has been that it is computer-based, uninspiring, additional work.  By contrast, staff may be more comfortable with using Apps and games on a mobile device and so more willing to take ownership of their own learning needs.”

In November 2011, TIS won four prestigious Brandon Hall awards for their proven mobile solutions – Best Use of Performance Support, Best Learning Game, Best Sales Leadership Training Program and a bronze award for Best Custom Content category.
