The Business Intelligence Group today announced that DDLS Group has won the global 2022 Fortress Cyber Security Awards in the Training category. The industry awards program identifies and rewards the world’s leading cyber security companies, products and training organisations that are working to keep our data and electronic assets safe from growing cyber risk.

The Training Award recognises DDLS Group for its industry-leading cyber security training programs, which deliver superior learning outcomes for students and address critical skills shortages – a key example being its specialised ‘Bootcamp’ courses.

Recognising that traditional TAFE and university models of education were restrictive and inaccessible for many people, DDLS Group developed a series of 'Bootcamp' courses with a unique study schedule. These 100% online-delivered courses offer more flexibility than traditional academic timetables, encouraging a wider range of students to participate.

The flagship ‘Certified Cyber Security Professional' course turns participants with zero industry experience into job-ready, front line cyber security analysts in less than six months. The course was designed to alleviate the current shortfall of cyber security workers in Australia, estimated to be over 7000 by AustCyber General Manager, Dr Jed Horner.

“We are thrilled to receive this award, which recognises our unique approach to ICT and cyber security training. DDLS Group isn’t just a training company, our goal is to contribute to meaningful skills growth in these industries that have been met with critical skills shortages. Through the development of innovative courses and flexible learning arrangements, we seek to provide individuals with a holistic training solution that enhances and furthers their careers, while improving organisations’ access to top quality ICT skills,” said Jon Lang, CEO of DDLS Group.

DDLS Group offers a range of instructor-led training courses, as well as online, self-paced learning assisted by mentors and advisors with real-world experience. The organisation also uses the latest Telepresence technology to create virtual classrooms for remote students with Full HD video and audio and real-time access to expert instructors.

This award follows several accolades for DDLS Group, which has been continually recognised by vendors and professional bodies as the leading ICT training provider in Australia. Among these, DDLS is Australia's first Microsoft Gold Learning Partner, and one of only a few authorised AWS training partners locally.

With campuses across Australia, New Zealand and The Philippines, DDLS offers the most comprehensive schedule of ICT training courses, with a portfolio of 600+ options. It has also developed industry partnerships with over 40 major companies and organisations, including Microsoft, AWS, Google, Cisco, EC-Council, CompTIA, ISACA and (ISC)2.

“We are so proud to name DDLS Group as a winner in the 2021 Fortress Cyber Security Awards program,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer, Business Intelligence Group. “The cyber security industry is more important than ever as our reliance on networks continues to accelerate, our identities and data have quickly become global currency. Our winners and finalists are on the frontlines of the effort to prepare, defend and respond to this growing threat.
