DDLS makes it a double with MAPA 2012 Award

Sydney, AustraliaLearning NewsLumify Group

DDLS (Dimension Data Learning Solutions) today announced it was awarded the prestigious 2012 Microsoft Australia Partner Award (MAPA) for Learning. This follows on from the coveted Microsoft Global Learning Partner award DDLS won earlier this year in June, from a field of 3,000 participants worldwide.

“This win is so significant in terms of the calibre of Microsoft training solutions we deliver in this market. For a local Australian company to win the global award in June and have this reinforced by winning the regional MAPA Learning Partner Award this week, is unprecedented,” said Gary Duffield, DDLS National Product Manager.

“While the global award earlier this year was an important recognition of our competency in delivering market acceleration around Microsoft learning solutions, the 2012 MAPA awards recognise learning partners who build innovative training solutions; demonstrating that they have developed creative ways to engage as partners in training,” said Gary.

As the largest IT training organisation in Australia, DDLS plays a critical role in enabling the evolution of skills in the Australian IT community.  Employing the country’s largest community of Microsoft Certified trainers, DDLS' mission is to assist individuals and organisations as they embark on their journey to the cloud through the provision of innovative learning solutions, which help remove the fear and uncertainly that is often associated with change. By providing a 360-degree learning view of the Microsoft technology stack, DDLS is able to advise, evangelise and deliver highly relevant training.

“We have a significant role to play in providing thought leadership around the journey to the cloud and look forward to providing training solutions and certification for new Microsoft technologies such as Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Office 2013, SQL Server 2012 and System Center 2012.

“We thank Microsoft for this recognition and for Microsoft’s leadership in delivering the technologies on which we base our learning solutions. We also thank the DDLS team and our clients, who have made this achievement possible,” Gary said.

Parent company Dimension Data was the winner of the Enterprise Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, as well as the Private Cloud Partner award and secured the winning gong for the IAAS Hosting Partner of the Year.

The Microsoft Australian Awards were presented in 24 categories. The Partner of the Year Award recognises partners who have delivered exemplary solutions using Microsoft technologies to address customer business needs and challenges.
