Details of the sessions are as follows:-

 Thursday 26th January: 12:30 -13.00

Theatre 1 (Learning Technologies exhibition hall)

Dominic Mason, Head of Mobile

According to the 2011 Towards Maturity Benchmark, 76% of organisations say they will adopt mobile learning by 2013. Further research from Cisco suggests that employees can spend up to 80% of their time away from their desk.

Your organisation may already be providing many business services and sales tools to mobile devices but the provision of mobile knowledge, learning and communications isn't just nice to have, it's a now competitive necessity.

In this session, LINE will present detailed case studies of recent large scale mobile learning projects developed with their clients, Jaguar Land Rover and the Royal School of Artillery.

As well as demonstrating the actual learning content, the session will address:

Aims and objectives of the projects

  • Where mobile fitted in the blend
  • What solutions were delivered
  • The challenges that were overcome
  • The results that were achieved

 ‘Building on Learning Architectures’

Thursday 26th January. 14.30 – 15.00

Theatre 6 (Learning & Skills exhibition hall)

In this session Andrew will show how the concept of Learning Achitectures has progressed and where we are heading, thanks to the valuable workshops and sessions he's been running throughout the year.

 The session will cover:

  • What is Learning Architecture?
  • Learning Culture
  • Implementing a Learning Architecture
  • Model, process or theory?
