LINE Communications, one of Europe’s leading providers of learning and communications content* has sponsored the 2nd HR Technology Summit which took place in Brussels on the 8-10th March.

As part of its continuing commitment to promoting the debate on how technology-led learning can transform organisations and attain tangible business results, LINE has a programme of pan-European sponsorship for flagship events such as the HR Technologies Summit. This event offered a wide range of opportunities for knowledge transfer, networking and peer to peer learning. As the UK market leader in the development of bespoke e-learning solutions, LINE’s presence at the event was pivotal. In addition to delivering one of the Summit keynote presentations, ‘Powering out of the recession’, LINE also supported two of its major clients to deliver case study presentations on major programmes of work that LINE has undertaken with them.

Ford of Europe presented a case study on the award winning Ford Foundation programme. The multi-layered e-learning and communications project has significantly increased car sales since its release in 2008 and massively reduced per capita training costs across the pan-European business. The Identity and Passport Service (IPS) presented a case study on the Authentication by Interview programme, which won the UK National Training Award for Partnership and Collaboration in 2009. The innovative blended learning programme supported a major structural and cultural change within IPS to help combat passport fraud and identity theft.

Steve Ash, Director of Sales and Marketing at LINE says ‘We’re pleased to have sponsored this event which showcases how technology can help organisations achieve real results through the delivery of effective and innovative technology-led learning. Having two of our key clients at the event giving their own accounts of the successes they have had is a genuine privilege.’
