Learning Pool Supports Adult Learners' Week with E-Learning Bundle
Adult Learners’ Week (18-24 May) is a national celebration of the benefits of lifelong learning and Learning Pool is supporting it by giving away seven free learning resources in a 'Special Edition' bundle.
Adult Learners' Week provides the opportunity for people to explore the many different kinds of learning; whether it is about getting a better job, being able to help their children with schoolwork or discover something new about the world around them.
Exclusively for Adult Learners’ Week Learning Pool are offering a bundle of seven free learning resources to help people along their learning journey.
The four free modules centre around an individual's online presence and include 'Getting Started with Social Media', 'Writing for the Web', 'Quick Guide to Outlook 2010' and 'Information Security'.
Newly updated for 2013 are two Social Media guides which are 'Twitter for Business - A Quick Start Guide' and 'Facebook for Business - A Quick Start Guide'.
One webinar place for May's Learning Hour 'Want to know the future of social media in learning?' is included with the bundle. Online enthusiast Paul Webster will look at how platforms such as Twitter and Facebook could be leveraged for learning and show how this has been done successfully.
