Workplace conduct learning platform launches as harassment duties tighten

AI-supported scenario learning launches as employers prepare for tougher workplace sexual harassment obligations.

UK employers are preparing for a tougher legal duty to prevent workplace sexual harassment, with the requirement to take ‘all reasonable steps’ expected to replace the current obligation to take ‘reasonable steps’ from autumn 2026.

Against that backdrop, workplace conduct learning provider Scenari has launched a new AI-supported platform that uses scenario-based practice to help employees and managers rehearse responses to workplace misconduct and sexual harassment.

Developed by HR specialist Chloe Wallace, the platform moves away from conventional compliance training by placing learners in realistic workplace situations where they receive personalised coaching feedback based on the decisions they make.

The proposed changes build on the preventative duty introduced in October 2024 and are expected to increase expectations on employers to demonstrate that they have taken proactive measures to prevent workplace sexual harassment. That is prompting many organisations to review whether annual compliance training alone is sufficient.

Chloe Wallace said: ‘Most training tells people what good behaviour looks like and hopes it sticks. Scenari lets them rehearse it. It closes the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.’

According to the company, the platform has been developed using Wallace’s experience of workplace sexual harassment and misconduct investigations and incorporates her trauma-informed CEASE Framework®. Its AI model has been trained using UK employment legislation and case law.

The company said the platform initially addresses sexual harassment and workplace misconduct, with plans to expand into other workplace conduct topics over time.
