The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) and Developing People Globally (DPG) today announced a strategic partnership that will help customers drive measurable performance improvement through the synergy of digital technologies, frameworks, and skilled people.

The partnership agreement enables DPG to market and deliver the LPI's industry-leading accreditation, certification and 'Learning Programmes of Excellence' solutions, driving DPG's expansion into B2B markets with particular focus on Learning Departments and Corporate Universities.

Using the LPI's highly-regarded accreditation frameworks, DPG will assess the quality of learning services within organisations and work with these organisations to continually develop their impact on corporate performance. In addition, DPG will leverage LPI certification resources to further develop its work with HR and L&D professionals, supporting them to gain the skills they need to improve their performance and create an impact in their workplace.

The partnership is a strong strategic fit:
The LPI, as the global body for workplace learning organisations and professionals, brings to the table a comprehensive range of services such as membership, certification, accreditation, events, awards and consulting - all designed to drive business performance improvement through effective learning.

DPG brings a wealth of experience in transforming individual and business performance through its comprehensive portfolio of L&D and HR-focused learning resources.

Both organisations also manage large online communities of highly-skilled and engaged L&D and HR professionals, who will benefit from increased collaboration and content resources as a result of the partnership.

The partnership agreement is a natural extension of DPG's recent successful collaborations with the LPI. In late 2019, DPG achieved accreditation as a Learning Provider, exhibited at LEARNING LIVE (the LPI's flagship event for Heads of Learning), and achieved the LPI Learning Programmes of Excellence award for its new HRGo! programme.

Building upon this strong foundation, DPG and the LPI will help customers thrive by putting learning at the heart of their business - developing their full potential to drive organisational performance.

Edmund Monk, LPI CEO said: "With learning now playing a critical role in every aspect of business, companies recognise the need to accelerate the development of L&D and HR skills to ensure they remain competitive. Working in partnership with DPG, we will unlock the full potential of our customers' human skills and digital competences, helping them drive measurable performance improvement. Furthermore, by combining our respective online communities of L&D professionals, we can look to build a global network that embraces opportunities, thrives on innovation and engages thousands of learning professionals and organisations across the world."

Commenting on the partnership, Sarah Aubrey, CEO at DPG, said: "The LPI and DPG firmly have driving performance and measurable impact in our learning design and organisational DNAs. Learning is consistently a top-rated challenge in the Global Human Capital Trends, with the 'opportunity to learn' as among employee’s top reasons for taking a job. Digital transformation is also creating a strong demand for truly continuous, lifelong learning. Together, DPG and the LPI are best placed to support organisations and L&D practitioners with solutions that meet this demand, with learning that is embedded in to the flow of work and meets the digital habits of the 'modern learner'.

Robert Wagner, Commercial Director at DPG, said: "The LPI has long been the professional institute dedicated to advancing the L&D profession, especially those individuals and organisations that want to develop themselves and their careers in the modern learning environment. DPG has a long heritage of designing and delivering flexible, innovative and cutting edge learning programmes. This partnership enables both organisations to pool their respective resources and talents to better serve the L&D profession to become future ready, future proof, Learning and Performance professionals."
