The 2016 Learning Awards to be live streamed
London-based awards ceremony opens its doors to a global audience.
The Learning Awards is to be live streamed for the first time in its 20 year history, by internet TV channel, Learning Now TV.
Internationally renowned as the most prestigious awards ceremony in the learning sector, the Learning Awards plays host to around 450 personally-invited finalists and their guests for a celebration of the highest achievers in workplace learning.
The ceremony takes place at the Dorchester hotel in London's Park Lane and will be hosted, once again, by TV star and personality, Claudia Winkleman.
Tickets were sold out within hours so the decision to live stream the presentations will be welcomed by the hundreds of people who have been unable to secure a ticket or attend in person.
LPI Chief Executive and owner of Learning Now TV, Colin Steed, said: "The heritage and reputation of The Learning Awards is unrivalled. Every year, the number of entries increases and the quality of the submissions becomes ever higher. With such a hotly-contested event, the the anticipation of winning an award is huge. The excitement in the Dorchester ballroom is palpable!"
"So I am particularly excited to announce that we will be live streaming this year's event to a global audience. This will be welcome news to everyone who was unable to secure a ticket this year or who is simply unable to travel to the venue."
The live stream will begin at 9PM UK time and continue throughout the award presentations.
The Learning Awards ceremony takes place at the Dorchester hotel in London's Park Lane on Thursday 4th February 2016.
