LEARNING LIVE 2016 brings new personalised learning experience to delegates
Leading L&D conference and exhibition continues to innovate by offering delegates a bespoke programme of practical steps to solve their challenges.
In a new innovation designed to give its delegates a more productive and relevant conference, LEARNING LIVE 2016 is offering a personalised learning experience to every paid ticket holder.
Edmund Monk, Managing Director, LPI, said: "LEARNING LIVE has always been a highly focused event where we encourage networking and discussion, rather than the traditional "seminar" approach; last year the theme was "lecture-free zone". But this year we are going much further and providing an experience that directly caters to our delegates' key challenges.
"After researching the experiences of visitors to L&D conferences and exhibitions, we learned that many of them found the amount of information on offer overwhelming. Which sessions should they go to? Which vendors have technology that can help? Who are the best people to network with? When faced with so much choice at some of the larger exhibitions, it's easy to come away with a bag full of brochures and general information but not so easy to get actionable and relevant answers to specific challenges. LEARNING LIVE addresses this problem by offering delegates a personalised learning experience."
Delegates who purchase tickets to LEARNING LIVE will be asked to share their key L&D challenges with the LPI, for example, how to implement social learning or digital transformation, how to curate content, how to ensure consistency among trainers etc. The delegate will then be contacted by a member of the LEARNING LIVE experience team and will receive highly pertinent and targeted information that aims to address their challenges. Examples include which thought-leaders to follow on social media, where to find the most helpful content, which sessions to attend at LEARNING LIVE and, uniquely, personal introductions to relevant speakers, exhibitors and peers with similar challenges.
After the event, delegates will receive a report showing a summary of the challenges, any important trends, and what is being done to address these issues.
"LEARNING LIVE has always responded to the needs of the L&D community, whilst pushing the boundaries of what's possible", said Monk. "By offering delegates a personalised learning experience, we are answering a genuine and serious need whilst simultaneously re-inventing the L&D conference for the modern audience."
Spread across two days, LEARNING LIVE 2016 brings together learning and development professionals from across the globe, and provides them with the opportunity to network with industry peers and discover the latest innovations in learning technologies and support services.
LEARNING LIVE takes place at 155 Bishopsgate, London on 7-8 September 2016 and the headline sponsor is Pluralsight
