Foremost awards ceremony for the Learning and Development sector celebrates 20 years of continual growth.

The 20th annual Learning Awards, showcasing the greatest achievements in learning and development has seen its highest number of entries since its inception. The number of submissions has broken all previous records, setting up the 2016 ceremony to be the biggest event in the award’s history.

Over 300 submissions were received for the categories awarded such as Learning Provider of the Year, People Development Programme of the Year, Social & Collaborative Learning Award, CLO of the Year and 10 others.

The best entries have already been shortlisted and the judging process to decide Bronze, Silver and Gold winners will begin in early November.

"The volume and quality of the responses we have had this year, breaking all previous records, reaffirms the outstanding impact that learning and development organisations are having around the UK and beyond", said Colin Steed, Chief Executive of the Learning and Performance Institute and Chair of the Awards.

"The Learning Awards has always been a true representation of the learning community. It’s completely inclusive, with the sole aim of championing the innovation and sheer hard work of individuals and organisations engaged in learning. The event itself has evolved a lot over the past 19 years but it has never lost sight of its purpose. I am very excited to see who is leading their field in 2015-16."

Hosted by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI), the Learning Awards will take place on 4th February 2016. The prestigious ceremony will be held at the 5-star Dorchester Hotel on London’s Park Lane; playing host to over 400 learning professionals.

The awards are sponsored by several high-profile L&D companies including Afiniti, Blue Eskimo, CompTIA, Filtered, Insights, Lynda.com a Linkedin company, Pluralsight, Microsoft, QA, Saba Software and TTS.

A few sponsorship opportunities remain. Companies wishing to sponsor an award may contact the LPI via the details below.
