The Learning and Performance Institute’s annual LEARNING LIVE Conference and Exhibition expected to double in size.

The Learning and Performance Institute, a global body for professional skills development and research in L&D, has begun selling tickets for its increasingly popular annual learning and development conference.

LEARNING LIVE 2014 will be held on September 10-11, 2014 at the 155 Bishopsgate venue near Liverpool Street in London, and will feature an all-star lineup of speakers including:

  • Dr Steve Peters, keynote speaker, author of “The Chimp Paradox” and the man behind Team GB’s extraordinary success in cycling at the London 2012 Olympics.
  • Neil Denny, qualified mediator and author of several books on conflict resolution skills for professionals. Neil will speak at the Networking Dinner.

Several other prominent speakers and industry thought-leaders will present sessions at this two-day event which opens at 1pm on Wednesday 10th September and closes at 4:15pm on Thursday 11th.  The agenda consists of three streams: “Our Future”, which will focus on the issues and forces affecting the future of the professional learning industry; “Performance Improvement” (sponsored by Virtual Ashridge) which looks at methods and techniques designed to help L&D departments deliver business benefits and value to the organisation; and “The Real World” (sponsored by Brightwave) which features inspiring case studies from various industry sectors.

In addition, two Business Solutions Workshop streams will highlight thought-provoking approaches and pragmatic techniques to motivate all those working in the L&D profession.

The event follows the highly successful LEARNING LIVE 2013 conference organized by the LPI last year. Whilst the 2013 event drew approximately 300 L&D attendees, LEARNING LIVE 2014 is expected to double in size, drawing over 600 L&D professionals and 30+ exhibitors and sponsors. Colin Steed, CEO, LPI said, “We’re excited to be doubling in size from last year. This demonstrates the growing commitment and interest not only in The Learning and Performance Institute but also in the whole community of learning and development professionals.”

Early Bird tickets have already sold out, however passes for the two-day event giving access to all conference areas, breakfast, lunch and the networking dinner and drinks, are still available.

There are also a few exhibit hall sponsorships remaining, which vary in price depending on the sponsorship level.
