Training provider 'elite' forum launched

Learning NewsLPI (Learning and Performance Institute)

The Institute of IT Training Chief Executive Colin Steed has launched the Institute's 'Top Tier Forums' that are aimed at bringing the MDs of training providers together to become a key influencer for the industry, especially when dealing with Government and major vendors.

"I have sent out invitations and the response to join has been outstanding," he said. "We are going to have the most influential body meeting on a regular basis and I have also had a good response from Government agencies who wish to consult the Forum."

Steed explained that already 50 of the top 75 providers have joined and this is only two weeks since the invitations were sent out. "We've obviously started this at the right time - the industry wants it, the Government agencies want it and the vendors want it, so I believe this is going to become a significant body for the whole IT training industry."

The first Forum meeting is in July - further details soon.
