KnowledgePool named again as one of the world's top training outsourcing companies
KnowledgePool, the UK market leader in managed learning, has been named as one of the Top 20 companies in the global training outsourcing industry, for the third year running, by the US-based learning portal TrainingIndustry.com.
A selection committee from TrainingIndustry.com - and its online learning community Training Outsourcing - assessed the expertise, experience, and capabilities of 500 providers to determine those best suited for world-class outsourcing engagements. The evaluation criteria included corporate competencies in 26 business processes, the strength of each company's major clients and the evaluation methods used to assess the impact of learning on business performance.
Dr. Jim Hanlin, Chief Marketing Officer of TrainingIndustry.com, said: "For KnowledgePool, this represents a well deserved recognition that has become an annual event. The 'Top 20' companies have expertise and experience in strategic alignment of training initiatives with business goals, developing and delivering exemplary international learning programmes and services, applying innovative learning analytics and positively impacting business performance through learning."
KnowledgePool is one of only three companies based in the UK to make the Top 20. The others are based in the US and India. TrainingIndustry.com says that because of the diversity of services included in training outsourcing engagements, it makes no attempt to rank the 'Top 20'.
Paul Jefferson, CEO of KnowledgePool, said: "We're delighted to be recognised again as one of the world's leading providers of training outsourcing. Following another year of profitable growth, through new business wins and a major acquisition, this represents a further endorsement of our ability to add value to our clients' learning initiatives, even in the current economic climate."
With over 40 years' experience in the training industry, KnowledgePool manages learning for major clients such as Fujitsu Services, the Home Office and Orange. Working in partnership with in-house learning and development teams, the company secures best value for client training budgets through specialist training administration, supplier management, learning consultancy and evaluation services.
TrainingIndustry.com is a portal for the training industry which aims to create a more efficient marketplace for learning by providing objective information on how to create sustainable value through learning services.
KnowledgePool was also ranked as a 'Top 20' Training Outsourcing Company in 2007 and 2008. In 2006, TrainingIndustry.com selected KnowledgePool as one of its top 10 global emerging leaders in training outsourcing, after judging that the company was capable of providing world-class outsourcing engagements.
