KnowledgePool creates UK's biggest 'live schedule' online booking system for training

KnowledgePool, the learning services company, has added over 1,000 instructor-led and online courses, from recognised training vendors, to its searchable online catalogue, creating the UK's biggest 'live schedule' online booking system for training.

The company now provides over 3,500 courses, for middle and junior managers, covering business skills, IT skills, risk management, disaster recovery, data security and new technologies, such as Wireless and Bluetooth.

Unlike other training broker companies - who need to check dates and locations if you select a course from their online catalogue - KnowledgePool provides date, location, content and price information for its courses, as well as an 'evaluation rating' given by other delegates. Its online booking system manages the approval and purchasing processes and it sends delegates joining instructions and reminders automatically.

"Our online system vastly reduces the time and cost of training administration by simplifying the process of selecting and buying training," said Rod Edwards, Chief Executive of KnowledgePool. "Because we manage many millions of pounds worth of training through suppliers, we can also pass on improved discounts and terms to our clients."

After each course, KnowledgePool's system, called Livebooker, captures delegate feedback which is given to each client. It produces detailed management reports which provide total visibility of training usage and spend.

Hosted by KnowledgePool, Livebooker is built on a resilient architecture which the company has tried and tested since 1996. The system features helpdesk support and is available on a pay-as-you-go basis.

The available courses are offered at major UK cities, including Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, London and Manchester. KnowledgePool monitors and evaluates the quality of each vendor's training delivery.
