Kineo releases new off-the-shelf GDPR training course
Workplace learning and development expert Kineo is set to release a new training course focusing on the forthcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In May 2018 Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force. This new regulation is being put in place to improve the accuracy, relevancy and safety of how businesses handle and store data. The impact of these changes is vast, as it applies to all businesses that hold EU residence personal data. The penalty for non-compliance will be 20 million Euros or 4% of your annual turnover - whichever one is the highest.
With that shocking truth in mind, Kineo – a leader in digital learning - has created an all-you-need-to-know course covering the forthcoming GDPR changes. This self-contained course has been designed to support employees who need a general understanding of the new regulations and how they should handle personal information at work.
The 30-minute course, part of Kineo's EssentialsPlus library of off-the-shelf content, has been built using the Adapt framework, allowing users to access the same content across multiple devices. This means that learners can complete training at a suitable time for them, using a tablet or mobile phone as well as on a standard desktop. The course accommodates multiple learning styles using visual design, recap questions and real-life scenarios.
All EssentialsPlus courses are CPD-certified and have been commended by City and Guilds, leaders in skills development.
Kineo is offering a free trial allowing organisations to try the course first. For all enquiries about this GDPR course or any other from the EssentialsPlus range please contact the team.
