City & Guilds Kineo will host McDonald’s, Brand Learning, Compass Group and TUI at its upcoming Learning Insights event on 26 February 2014 in London. The employers will share their experiences of successful technology-led learning initiatives and explore best practice with an audience of learning and development professionals.

The event has evolved from the second annual Learning Insights Report compiled through in-depth research with learning leaders in major companies including Vodafone, Barclays, BBC, British American Tobacco, Sony, The Co-operative, Boots, Network Rail and many more. The research identifies key trends for learning in 2014. Case studies featured at the event will showcase best practice in some of the top ten areas, including informal and collaborative learning, assessment and accreditation, and the idea that learning needs to be more pervasive in today’s organisations.

Also presenting is renowned learning expert and City & Guilds Council Member, Donald Clark on ‘MOOCs in the Corporate World’. City & Guilds Kineo will then provide the first look at its new Managed Qualifications Service (MQS) which launches at the start of March, as well as exploring Adapt, the open source framework for mobile and responsive   elearning, and the new 2.5 version of Totora LMS.

Steve Rayson, managing director of City & Guilds Kineo comments, ‘We are looking forward to sharing our Insights research and seeing examples from some leading organisations who are walking the walk in terms of best practice. The event will be a good opportunity to hear from these businesses, generate ideas, learn about the evolution of the very latest learning technologies and most importantly of course, the chance to share and network.’

The Learning Insights event takes place on Wednesday 26 February 2014 at City & Guilds Kineo, Giltspur Street, London. Places are free but must be registered in advance via the website.
