City & Guilds Kineo Releases 2014 Learning Insights Report
The annual e.learning age Awards Gala Night taking place at Grosvenor House in London this evening - 6th November - sees the release of City & Guilds Kineo’s latest Learning Insights Report. The 2014 Report highlights the importance of applied learning in helping businesses add value through learning.
This year’s report – the third produced by City & Guilds Kineo in partnership with e.learning age – identifies the key L&D trends for 2015, and pays particular focus on the areas of onboarding, compliance, sales, leadership and customer service.
Embedded, open and connected learning that drives performance is the underlying theme, and interview research with over 30 L&D leaders from global businesses also highlights the on-going adoption of mobile, social, and game-based learning.
The report also discusses the challenges organisations are currently experiencing with recruitment and the skills gap, and even how budget pressures have led to a greater business focus and innovation.
Speaking of this year’s report, Matt Johnson, Managing Director, City & Guilds Kineo said:
“More than ever business leaders expect a straight line between our efforts as learning professionals and tangible commercial results. Those leaders expect L&D professionals to draw that line and drive those results. Hence the theme of applied learning that drives performance in this year’s report.”
The 2014 Learning Insights Report will be available as a digital download from the City & Guilds Kineo website from November 7.
