Local Green MP Caroline Lucas attended the opening of Kineo’s new Brighton office on 14th June.

The new office may be just one street away from the first office it opened six years ago in Orange Row in Brighton, but it's a world away from the Kineo of six years ago. The original office had desks for seven people, whereas the new Brighton office will be home to 150 staff and the global headquarters for Kineo.

Kineo has grown into the UK’s largest e-learning company and a leading global player with offices in Shanghai, Chicago, Melbourne, Cape Town, Gothenburg and Wellington.  Kineo’s spiritual home though, remains in Brighton where it started.

Kineo supports leading businesses such as Vodafone, Nikon, PepsiCo, Barclays and many others with the development and deployment of learning solutions including online learning, qualifications, accreditation and mobile learning.

Kineo became part of the City & Guilds Group in 2012, City & Guilds is one of the UK’s leading educational charities. The Institute awards up to 2 million vocational qualifications each year and is committed to supporting people into a job, developing them in a job and helping them move to the next job.

Kineo’s Managing Director, Steve Rayson, commented “Brighton has been a great location for us to grow and expand our business. There is an exceptional pool of local talent and a great network of businesses to work with and share ideas. As part of the City & Guilds Group we are looking forward to an exciting future and aim to continue to grow our staff and services.”
