City & Guilds Kineo Launched at Tate Modern

On 17th September over 80 clients and friends attended an event at the Tate Modern to celebrate the launch of the forthcoming City & Guilds Kineo company.

There were a number of key announcements at the event including:

  • City & Guilds Kineo will be launching the first Elearning Apprenticeship Academy in the UK with new elearning qualifications mapped to national standards
  • Sponge and Learning Pool will be joining City & Guilds Kineo in their Adapt open source authoring tool project
  • The City & Guilds Kineo company will be offering a range of new services including an Apprenticeship+ programme for employers
  • The launch of a new brand and forthcoming website for City & Guilds Kineo

Chris Jones, CEO and Director General of City & Guilds commented "At City & Guilds we have a history of over 135 years of designing high quality learning. We acquired Kineo as we were drawn to their innovation, their quality, their values and their customer service. We are confident the new City & Guilds Kineo organisation will be a major force in workplace learning."
