Learning Technologies Exit Poll shows Kineo E-learning making a big impact

Brighton, UKLearning NewsKineo

The 13th Learning Technologies conference and exhibition took place in London last week, and judging by the exit poll, Kineo has yet again make a great impression on attendees, appearing in the top 5 in 5 of the 7 questions, and topping the poll in must-see companies.

Early morning on day 1 and already the Kineo stand is a busy one!
Early morning on day 1 and already the Kineo stand is a busy one!

Learning Technologies is the must-attend show for anyone interested in e-learning and LMS solutions and services in Europe. With over 200 exhibitors this year, the show was busier than ever before, and vendors needed to work a lot harder to stand out. Kineo, global leader in e-learning services, has yet again led the polls in terms of impact before, during and after the show.

The exit poll, run again by Now Comms, shows the following results:

1. "When you planned your Learning Technologies 2012 visit, which company was on top of your must see list before visiting the show today?" Top 5 were:

1. Kineo 2. Epic 3. Adobe/Captivate 4. Taleo 5. Brightwave

Kineo was 2nd on this list last year, and it was great to move up to number one – we had a steady stream of visitors to our stand for both days, so hopefully everyone got to see all of their must sees.

2. Without looking down at any of the literature you've come away with today, can you name one of the event's official sponsors?" Top 5 were:

1. Adobe 2. Kineo 3. Fusion Universal 4. CertPoint 5. Epic

It's great to be making an impact with our show guide, our unofficial LT app, and our slightly cheeky mobile phone cards.

3. In terms of customer / supplier engagement, which company do you think you had the most profitable conversation with?" The top five most popular answers from respondents were:

1. Line 2. Kineo 3. CM Group 4. Redtray 5. Saffron

We're in good company on this list - and we had great conversations with attendees too, so it goes both ways.

4. "Without looking, name one company's case study, brochure material or other information that you remember putting in your show bag?" The top 5 were:

1. Kineo 2. Line 3. RedTray 4. CM Group 5. Articulate

We saw lots of interest in our new mobile learning guide, which we'll give away on the Kineo website shortly – and our overviews of Totara LMS, following our joint presentation with Tesco on how it's helped them.

5. "Of all the literature you've come away with today, what do you think you'll be reading on the Tube home?" Top 5 responses were:

1. E-learning Age magazine 2. Inside Learning Technologies 3. Adobe 4. Kineo 5. Corporate Learning
Consortium

Well, the top 2 are magazines, so good to be in their company. Again our mobile paper seemed to connect well with readers – part two will be on our site very soon.

Stephen Walsh, Kineo Director, said: "Learning Technologies is a vital event for us at Kineo – both in terms of connecting with new people and catching up with current clients. To see these results in at such a competitive show is great news for us, and we really appreciate old and new friends seeking out our stand and rating the conversations and materials so highly. We'd also like to thank our clients at Compass Group and Tesco for taking part in live seminars to show the benefits of our partnerships and tangible results we've achieved together – that is really what it's all about."
