Brighton, UKLearning NewsKineo

Kineo announces record revenues for its UK and US operations in 2011. Sales have increased by over 30% in these core markets and the establishment of operations in new markets such as China will lead to greater future growth opportunities.

Kineo is pleased with the consistent and steady growth for the company in its core markets and the addition of new overseas offices. This represents seven straight years of revenue growth which has made Kineo one of the leading global e-learning companies.

During 2011 Kineo opened new offices in China, South Africa and Sweden. Record sales in China have led to over 70 staff working from Guangzhou and Shanghai. The record level of sales in China looks set to continue in 2012. Expansion of the global office network continues with a new office in Melbourne, Australia.

As a sign of Kineo’s continued market leadership it was voted the ‘must see’ company of the 2012 Learning Technologies conference and one of the top ten global learning and technology websites.

2011 also saw the first year of trading for Totara, the LMS platform that Kineo co-owns and co-develops. Nearly 100 corporate clients have chosen Totara, including the UK’s largest private sector employer Tesco and a large retail operation in the US. With a strong pipeline of further enquiries developing in all markets, this business is proceeding ahead of schedule and will see significant developments in 2012.

Matt Fox, Kineo Director commented: “It has been a great year for Kineo. We would like to thank all of our clients for their support and the opportunity to work on innovative e-learning solutions that deliver real business results. We are very much looking forward to developing our strategic client partnerships further in 2012.”
