Compass and Kineo lead free Seminar on Re-inventing E-Learning at Learning Technologies 2012
Compass and Kineo will be leading a free seminar at Learning Technologies demonstrating how they turned around perceptions of e-learning. The seminar will take place at the Learning Technologies Exhibition at 11am on 26th January at Olympia, London.
Compass is a world leading catering and support company with over 50,000 staff and $2bn of revenues. They faced a key challenge in improving people’s
perceptions of e-learning and demonstrating the value of e-learning through business improvement.
At the seminar Kineo and Compass will explain how they used an open source learning platform and engaging e-learning to generate tangible business results and turn the business’ view of e-learning around.
The seminar will explore:
- Compass’ e-learning journey from initial scepticism to being won over
- The e-learning design approach that was adopted to create high engagement
- How the e-learning was promoted to maximise take up
- How the open source Moodle learning platform helped Compass colleagues to really engage with their learning and the business to measure results
- The benefits achieved – including over £500k of savings through one module alone - and future directions
The case study will also show how you can measure results and demonstrate real benefits from your e-learning and LMS initiatives.
The project won the silver award for best e-learning in a corporate environment at the recent UK E-Learning Awards.
