Kineo e-learning programme helps build MS Society volunteer skills

Learning NewsKineo

Kineo is proud to work in partnership with the MS Society to develop and deliver an e-learning programme to enable volunteer’s to give quality information to people affected by MS.

Volunteers are critical for people affected by MS in accessing services and support at a local level and the e-learning programme will be the first time MS Society volunteers have access to a rich set of online resources.

The e-learning programme will support the existing training workshops and provide additional flexibility for volunteers to complete training on this core skill at their own pace.

Supporting volunteers this way ensures people affected by MS get the help they need at local level through a reliable source.

Kineo Director, Matt Fox, says of the initiative: “We’re delighted to be supporting the MS Society this year. Our help to extend the training that will be offered to volunteers will make a real difference to people affected by MS. We have a great tradition of completing quality pro bono work at Kineo and this partnership marks another significant milestone in our social responsibility.”

Phoebe White, Learning and Development Manager (Volunteers) at the MS Society says: “Working with Kineo gives us the opportunity to offer our support volunteers more flexible ways to learn about their role in the aim to equip and empower them to provide consistent level of support and signposting to people affected by MS at a local level across the UK.”
