Award-winning learning and talent management provider, Kallidus, has been shortlisted for two Learning Technologies Awards: Best Learning Game and Learning Technologies Designer of the Year.

The Learning Technologies Awards recognise and reward outstanding solutions and industry excellence and are the leading independently judged scheme in the industry. The shortlist has been derived from hundreds of entries from over 15 different countries by a judging panel made up of over 40 experts organised by the eLearning Network.

Said Rob Caul, CEO of Kallidus: “We are delighted to be shortlisted in both categories we entered this year. Our submissions reflect how we work in partnership with our clients to create innovative learning solutions that immerse learners and drive behavioural change and business transformation.”

Best Learning Game

Kallidus has been shortlisted for Best Learning Game in partnership with Transport for London (TfL) for the creation of The Golden Ticket Game. This innovative and immersive learning game has been integral to the success of a major blended learning programme which is supporting TfL’s ‘Fit for the Future – Stations (FftFS)’ programme. Widely considered to be the largest business transformation programme in Europe, TfL needed to support and upskill 5,000 employees and create lasting behavioural change across London Underground. The Golden Ticket Game has been used to spearhead a major internal marketing campaign, helping to secure widespread buy-in for the FftFS programme and contributing significantly to productivity savings of £4.4m.

Learning Technologies Designer of the Year

Dan Bruce has been shortlisted for Learning Technologies Designer of the year. Dan is an experienced, creative learning designer who uses interactive video, powerful narrative, gamification and virtual reality to bring content to life and win learners’ hearts and minds. The quality and effectiveness of Dan’s work has been recognised by several high profile industry awards.

Said Philip Pyle, Sales and Marketing Director at Kallidus: These entries reflect the creativity and commitment of our talented team to delivering high-quality effective solutions that appeal to today’s learners. We are really pleased to have gained recognition once again this year for our work and wish everybody on the shortlist the best of luck when the winners are announced in November.”

Over the last two years, Kallidus has won four gold, one silver and three bronze awards at the Learning Technologies Awards (formerly the E-Learning Awards).

This year’s winners will be announced at the Learning Technologies Gala Evening on 30 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London, where over 800 guests from across the L&D sector are expected to attend.
