e2train wins contract to provide Bluefin Corporate Consulting with an integrated learning and performance management solution
e2train, a leading learning and talent management solutions provider has won a contract to supply Bluefin Corporate Consulting with its integrated Kallidus Learning Management System (LMS) and Performance Management solution.
Bluefin offers specialist advice on employee benefits and consultancy solutions for businesses. The company employs over 550 people throughout the UK.
The new Kallidus solution will be rolled out to around 550 employees and will replace a training system which had been originally designed specifically for Bluefin’s team of regulated planning advisors which today represent just 5% of the potential learning community within the organisation which will be using Kallidus. The new Kallidus solution will also provide a much needed performance management system to replace a spreadsheet-based system which will be driven by the HR function and supported by line managers.
Richard Stokes, Head of Professional Development: “Investing in the development of our employees is key to our success. Our new Kallidus system will enable the mapping of each employee’s development and learning needs to their ten core competencies and will help us to empower our people to take more ownership of their training and development as well as ensuring we have a means to measure a real return on investment”
As well as providing a system that enables the employees to proactively build on their skills and competencies, the system will also help HR and business managers work together more closely to support individual growth and development, and manage the knowledge-base across the organisation. In addition, Kallidus will help enable the company to ensure FSA regulatory compliance and to administer and manage e-learning for mandatory courses such as health and safety.
Commenting on the selection of e2train, Richard Stokes added: “When we sat down with our shortlist, e2train came out streets ahead of the competition. Their consultants clearly understood our challenges and business needs and are specialists in the sectors they operate in. We felt that the solution e2train offered would be bespoke to our needs and represented very good value for money. Our initial project planning meetings have been great – e2train have really helped us think about what the new system can do.”
Said Rob Caul, CEO of e2train: “We are excited to be supporting Bluefin Corporate Consulting in the development of their people and in planning for long-term growth. With our strong track record and understanding of the corporate financial services industry and Bluefin’s passion and commitment to the project we are looking forward to seeing our Kallidus solution driving measurable business value.”
Bluefin plans to pilot the new system at the end of April with the system scheduled to launch at the end of May 2012. As part of its commitment to the project, Bluefin is investing in a marketing and awareness programme to ensure buy-in from practice heads and users alike. The programme will include a series of presentations and an e-learning package for each employee to show them how to use the new system.
