e2train annual User Conference; Linking learning and performance with talent management
On Wednesday 2nd March, e2train, a UK leading provider of learning and performance technologies, is hosting its annual User Conference - Uncovered 2011- at Stratford Manor Hotel.
Uncovered 2011 will bring together industry leaders, learning experts and training professionals to discuss latest e-learning developments and the emerging challenges from the ‘war for talent’. The conference is typically attended by users and prospective users of Kallidus technologies although other attendees are also welcome.
The focus of Uncovered 2011 is ‘linking learning and performance with talent management’. The keynote will be delivered by Simon Kingsnorth, a renowned speaker with 20+ years’ experience in major multinationals in Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, Management Consultancy and, most recently, Financial Services. He is a passionate advocate for the real and significant values delivered by adopting best HR practices to generate high quality management, talent spotting and succession planning. He strongly believes that proactive HR initiates business fundamentals in people management and skills development and thereby encourages outstanding performance.
Delegates will be able to choose from three separate session streams to suit a variety of interest levels. Topics will include the ten most popular new features in Kallidus 8 as selected by actual users of the system and discovering how to create great looking profiles and branding for the LMS.
There will also be several customer-led seminars:
• David Dixon from dunnhumby returns to provide an update on their significant advances during the past two years
• Joanna Perry and Danielle Hunt from Leeds Building Society will showcase their automated course booking process
• Nissan Europe representatives will discuss the application and development of Kallidus in their successful partnership with e2train
The build up to the event begins the previous evening, when Sue Sutton will help set the scene in Stratford. Sue is a first class presenter on Shakespeare and his life and times. Through her unique style, Sue will deliver a presentation with an interesting and unusual twist that demonstrates how Shakespeare has had an unexpected, and often overlooked, impact upon modern-day business practices.
Rob Caul, Managing Director of e2train comments, “Uncovered is always a great event and this year is set to continue this tradition. We are delighted to have a number of our clients not only attending but also delivering insightful presentations”.
